2024 Spring Umpire Clinic

This is a two-day clinic.  

The dates for the 2024 Umpire Clinic are:

Time: 0830 - 1630h
Location: Ottewell Community League (5920 93a Ave NW, Edmonton, AB)

Date: Sunday, 28 April 2024
Time: 0900 - 1400h
Location: Ottewell Community League (5920 93a Ave NW, Edmonton, AB)

Please ensure you are able to take notes (pen and paper), are dressed for active participation, have your own water bottle, and have a baseball glove.

2024 Winter Umpire Training

INTERESTED IN BEING A LITTLE LEAGUE UMPIRE?

New and experienced umpires in the Edmonton region, (men and women ages 13 and up) are invited to join us for our Umpire Winter Training Sessions!

PURPOSE: To provide all umpires in the Edmonton region with FREE off-season umpire training sessions containing important information and skill development as we prepare for the 2024 baseball season.

DETAILS: The training will take place over three Sundays at Kinsmen Sport Centre (9100 Walterdale Hill, Edmonton)

- Warm-ups for umpires - Fundamentals (calls, signals, techniques)
- Mechanics at the plate and on bases - Umpire equipment
